postpartum training

Becoming a mother is a transformative time both mentally and physically. During pregnancy, the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles are heavily stressed, and many women suffer from weakened muscles after childbirth. For almost everyone, the physical demands of everyday life increase drastically when you become a mother, which can lead to pain and injuries.
Through EMS training, you can effectively and gently train the pelvic floor muscles and abdominal muscles at the same time as you train the rest of your body. Through coaching from our personal trainers and with the help of our high-tech equipment, all major muscle groups contract simultaneously, which makes EMS the most time-efficient training available on the market. In 20 minutes, the muscles contract hundreds of times, which is impossible to achieve with other training. In other words, perfect for a new mother, because let’s face it, as a parent it’s difficult to find any kind of time for yourself.

When can I start?
After a vaginal birth, you can start training with us after 6-8 weeks. After a caesarean section, you need to wait 3-6 months. We always recommend that you have had your follow-up with your midwife before you start training with us. Although we always adjust the training completely to your conditions, injuries, and goals. This means that you can benefit from training with us even if you still have abdominal muscle division (diastasis recti) or other pregnancy or childbirth complications. When breastfeeding, the electrodes on the chest can be easily switched off.
Already after 1-3 training sessions, many have started to regain contact in the muscles and most see visible results after only a few weeks. Our personal trainers help you set a goal that's reasonable for you, whether it's rehab or getting in the best shape of your life.
